Political streamer Destiny is facing serious legal scrutiny after content creator Willie Mack reported him to police, armed with direct message screenshots in which Destiny admitted to possessing video material of a girl now believed to have been 17 years old at the time it was recorded. The admission, made casually in the course of a conversation about the ongoing situation, has drawn widespread condemnation and raised questions about how far an influencer's fan base will go to defend the indefensible.
How the Story Broke
The chain of events began when a Reddit post surfaced suggesting that a girl whose nude content Destiny had shared — without her consent, according to an ongoing civil lawsuit — was a minor. Identification was made through facial recognition work attributed to Kiwi Farms users who cross-referenced images and matched physical features to confirm the individual's identity. That girl, referred to as Rose, is now believed to have been 17 at the time the material was created.
Destiny's initial defense was familiar: he claimed Rose told him she was 19 and in college, and that her ex-boyfriend — the alleged leaker — confirmed she had lied about her age. Whether that claim is truthful remains disputed, and as Willie Mack noted, it is the standard opening move in scandals of this type.
The DM Admission That Changed Everything
What escalated the situation from allegation to police report was not the question of whether Destiny knew her age. It was what he said next. When Mack asked Destiny directly whether he still had video material of Rose, Destiny replied: "Depends on why you're asking." When pressed, he confirmed: yes, he had it. He stated he had created copies of all relevant messages and media when the civil court case began, framing retention of the material as a legal obligation to preserve evidence.

That justification does not hold up. No legal framework in the United States requires — or permits — a private individual to retain child sexual abuse material as part of civil litigation discovery. The only parties legally authorized to possess such material are law enforcement officials actively working an investigation. Destiny's own messages reveal uncertainty on this point: at one moment he wrote that he was not sure if he was allowed to delete it, and at another claimed his lawyer had advised him to keep everything related to the Rose matter. Willie Mack Goes to the Police
Mack, who has spent eight years reaching out to public figures over allegations, said he had never before had someone admit in his DMs to possessing child pornography. After confirming through follow-up messages that Destiny knew about the underage allegations, still had the material, and was not planning to delete it, Mack contacted police and recorded his interactions with a detective. Destiny's stated rationale shifted over the course of the conversation. First it was legal preservation. Then it was uncertainty about whether deletion would constitute destruction of evidence. Finally, he floated a hypothetical: if Rose's boyfriend had been trafficking her, Destiny reasoned, his copy of the video might one day be useful to investigators. Several observers drew comparisons to the ProJared scandal, in which the YouTube creator solicited nude images from fans while nominally requiring senders to confirm they were over 18 — a disclaimer that provided no real verification and resulted in confirmed exchanges with minors. The parallel is pointed: in both cases, the accused leaned on claims of ignorance while engaging in behavior that any reasonable adult would recognize as high-risk at minimum.
Willie Mack acknowledged that his reporting may not result in charges — he stated plainly that he does not know what will come of the police report. But he argued, and many agreed, that the act of going to law enforcement was the only appropriate response once Destiny confirmed possession of the material. Mack's original confidentiality with sources, he noted, does not extend to covering up crimes.
Whether Destiny faces legal consequences or not, the documented exchange — a public figure casually confirming he has retained potential child sexual abuse material and offering to produce it under the right conditions — represents a new low even by the standards of internet controversy.
